What we need from an Account Supervisor

As an Account Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in managing client accounts, serving as the connection between the client's needs and the agency's capabilities. This position demands organization, tactical execution, and relationship-building skills. Your role as the day-to-day contact, driven by your strong client relationships, is essential. You are responsible for client satisfaction, delivering quality and flawless work, and maintaining a positive and motivated attitude. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the day-to-day relationship with clients and the internal team
  • Foster strong client relationships and serve as a trusted partner
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business
  • Manage client budgets, projects and objectives in order to achieve goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time, on-budget delivery of all projects
  • Deliver compelling presentations that clearly articulate ideas and inspire action
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and senior management
  • Identify opportunities to support clients' businesses and overcome challenges
  • Lead and collaborate on creative, digital and media briefs
  • Collaborate with strategists, creatives, media, project managers, and producers
  • Synthesize client feedback and guide the team towards effective solutions
  • Learn and understand the client's business, industry and competition, and leverage that knowledge to help generate new ideas to strategically grow their business
  • Collaborate on project estimates and SOWs


Ideal experience for an Account Supervisor

  • 4-8 years of account management experience in an advertising agency
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to build authentic and mutually respectful relationships with clients
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Comfortable presenting, in-person, and virtually
  • Able to autonomously lead client accounts
  • Leadership potential, a desire to grow with the agency
  • Experience working on both digital and traditional marketing
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Confident, motivated, driven, and a self-starter
  • Positive, can-do attitude and enthusiastic about the advertising industry

What it looks like to be a team member at Preston Spire

  • This position is based in Minneapolis
  • We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days in the office (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two days remote (Tuesday and Friday)

  • Position: Non-exempt, full-time at 40 hours/week
  • Travel expectations: From time to time your job could require travel.
  • Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
